The new media streaming service Disney+ from Disney is a reply to Netflix and Disney is now easily dominating Netflix with their new and unique series and movies collection. The Extremely hyped TV show The Mandalorian was alone enough to beat the crap out of Netflix. However, after the success of The Mandalorian, Disney failed to impress fans with another hit TV series.
The good about Disney+ is that Marvel Studios have planned to release a set of their TV series on the service in this year. Several TV shows are being developed to launch on Disney plus in the upcoming months and weeks. Disney and Marvel Studios recently utilized the Super Bowl LIV to promote their fresh future projects. Here is the breakdown of Marvel Super Bowl LIV trailer.
1. Falcon Getting Trained with Captain America’s Shield
The new Marvel Disney+ promotional clip starts with the appearance of Falcon, who is practising Cap’s shield to become the next Captain America. In the conclusion of the End Game film, you saw that Steve Rogers is no longer young and super strong. He has become old, and he had to select a new responsible person to take the mantle of next Captain America. We saw that Steve chose Sam over his best friend Bucky because, in the past, Bucky has been a most wanted criminal and assassin in the world. If he tries to be the next Captain America, then the society will never accept his as a superhero or Captain America.
That is the reason Steve prefer Sam Wilson to be the next Captain since he has been a faithful soldier of the US forces, and he has helped others many times like Captain America. After getting the serious responsibility to become next Captain America, Sam Wilson is trying his best to learn the art to use Captain’s indestructible shield. In the clip, he is trying to throw his shield toward a tree to bounce it back to him, but instead of bouncing, the shield gets shoved into the tree and stuck right there. It is not funny that Sam will have to make great efforts in order to become an expert in using it. Considering the fact that he is an ordinary human, he might never become the shield-master like Steve Rogers.
2. Falcon Vs. Paratroopers
Who appointed Sam Wilson as the next Captain America? We all know that Steve did that, but that does not mean the US government also wished the same. In Spiderman Far from Home, we saw that the nation thinks Steve died in the final battle. In the movie, it was also stated that time-travel is kept secret from the world and government as well. The trailer shows that he is being chased by the US government paratroopers and occupied in air combat. This mean government is not happy with Sam Wilson becoming a new Cap.
3. Bucky Barnes Confronts Zemo
Next, you see Bucky Barnes who is now out of the mantle of Winter Soldier, pointing his pistol against Zemo who was able to play with Bucky’s mind. In Captain America: Civil War, we saw Zemo using Winter Soldier as a weapon against the Avengers. It is not clear whether he will again become an enemy or a superhero to help Falcon and other people as he did in Infinity War and Endgame.
4. Black & White Version of Vision and Wanda
The trailer then features colourless Wanda and Vision played by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany respectively. PaulBettany stated that the show will be a bit humorous and might introduce the aroma of 1950’s sitcom shows. The black and white scenes prove that the show will feature comedy shots of the 1950s as well. Now the Vision is alive again after the events of Infinity War when he had his head crushed by Thanos, but it is still strange how he became alive again.
5. Comic Accurate Version of Wanda
The promotional clip further shows various versions of Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlett Witch, and that looks something like multiple realities are crashing together in the TV series. One of the version is truly identical to the comic or her traditional version along with her headpiece. The show might also present the origin of the Scarlett Witch in MCU.
